This position will primarily be remote, allowing for flexibility while still being an essential part of the therapeutic team. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct extensive assessments and screenings, meticulously evaluating each patient's mental health needs to craft tailored treatment plans that promote their wellness journey.

• Deliver expert individual counseling, utilizing crisis intervention techniques to support patients during challenging situations arising from various mental health concerns.

• Facilitate engaging therapy groups and workshops, focusing on topics such as coping strategies, emotional regulation, and personal development, which are critical to patient growth.

• Collaborate seamlessly with interdisciplinary teams, including medical professionals and community organizations, ensuring a holistic approach to patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• Must possess an active and valid state license in one of the following: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a closely related field is required.

• Demonstrable understanding of the unique challenges faced by patients in various health contexts, especially those prevalent in community health settings.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills that foster rapport with patients and promote collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

• Knowledge of evidence-based practices and brief therapy models that are relevant to an inclusive counseling environment.

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting, managing a diverse caseload and effectively prioritizing competing tasks.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a mental health setting is preferred, particularly within community health or hospital environments.

• Experience in group therapy facilitation and workshop development is highly desirable.
