Position Overview We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselors to join our dynamic team at WeCare Behavioral Health & Consulting Clinic. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough mental health assessments, including psychosocial evaluations and risk assessments, to understand client needs fully. Collaborate with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that reflect their goals and cultural backgrounds. Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as CBT, DBT, and solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT) in individual, couple, and family contexts. Provide immediate crisis intervention and support, ensuring comprehensive care and effective collaboration with healthcare professionals. Maintain meticulous clinical documentation, including treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries, in compliance with clinic policies. Offer psychoeducation to clients and their families, equipping them with tools and resources to manage their mental health actively. Engage in regular collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, which includes psychiatrists, case managers, and nurses, to deliver coordinated care. Monitor treatment outcomes through ongoing assessments, adjusting therapeutic approaches as necessary to enhance effectiveness. Stay informed about advances in mental health, integrating new research findings and best practices into clinical work. Ensure adherence to ethical standards, respecting client confidentiality throughout all interactions. Patient Population / Client Focus Our clinic serves a diverse range of clients, including individuals who have faced significant trauma and adversity. We prioritize culturally sensitive counseling practices, recognizing and respecting the backgrounds and experiences of each client. By fostering a supportive environment, our counselors empower clients to navigate their mental health journeys effectively. Qualifications A minimum of a Master’s degree in Social Work or a related mental health field. Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of California. Proven ability to work both autonomously and as part of a collaborative team. Strong interpersonal skills, enabling the establishment of rapport with a diverse client base. Preferred Experience Prior experience in trauma-informed care or working with diverse populations. Familiarity with telehealth platforms and virtual counseling techniques is a plus. Experience in providing evidence-based therapeutic modalities including CBT, DBT, and SFBT. Compensation and Benefits The annual salary range for this position is $80,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and skills.
