Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough and compassionate mental health assessments to identify individualized treatment needs and co-occurring disorders. Design and implement personalized, evidence-based treatment plans that reflect clients' unique strengths and challenges. Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions that address addiction, trauma, and other mental health issues while promoting emotional healing. Regularly monitor client progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as needed to optimize recovery outcomes. Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, social workers, and addiction specialists, to ensure a comprehensive care approach. Provide education and resources to clients and families about mental health, addiction recovery principles, and available support systems. Maintain accurate and secure client records in compliance with industry regulations and ethical standards. Patient Population / Client Focus You will primarily work with adults facing challenges related to mental health disorders and substance abuse. Your insights and therapy will directly impact their recovery processes, helping them build coping strategies, resilience, and a renewed sense of purpose. You will also play a critical role in destigmatizing mental health, continuously raising awareness with clients and community members. Qualifications A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution. A valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) license in the state of Washington. Minimum of three years' clinical experience in providing mental health support, particularly in addiction recovery settings. Strong foundation in evidence-based therapeutic techniques and practices. Preferred Experience Experience in group therapy facilitation and the use of trauma-informed care practices. Training in rehabilitation counseling and familiarity with community health resources. Knowledge of developing and utilizing telehealth platforms for counseling services. Compensation and Benefits The position offers an attractive annual salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 100,000, reflective of experience and qualifications.
