Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth psychosocial assessments to evaluate patients’ mental health status, identifying strengths, needs, and areas for intervention.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) tailored to individual patient requirements.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to form comprehensive, patient-centered treatment plans that align with each client’s unique goals and preferences.

• Provide individual and group therapy sessions, employing various therapeutic modalities to foster engagement and healing.

• Assist patients and their families in understanding diagnoses, treatment options, and medication regimens, ensuring clarity and informed decisions.

• Advocate for patients’ rights and needs within the complex mental health system, guiding them through available resources and services.

• Facilitate therapeutic groups, psychoeducational sessions, and discharge planning meetings, equipping clients with the necessary tools for continued recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with individuals experiencing substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions within a Detox Center environment. Your efforts will focus on providing therapeutic support to clients ranging from adolescents to adults, each facing unique challenges and requiring personalized approaches to treatment. You will play a crucial role in their journey toward recovery and improved mental health.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program is required.

• Current and active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits\n
