Work Environment

This position will entail working onsite in patients' homes within the Las Vegas area. By fostering a comfortable and familiar environment, our therapists can better assess needs and deliver effective treatment plans. Each day offers variety, as you will be traveling to different locations to meet your patients where they feel most at ease. The standard schedule runs Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing work-life balance while dedicating your skills to those in need.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to determine their physical capabilities and functional limitations.
• Create personalized and adaptive treatment plans that consider each patient's unique circumstances, goals, and treatment outcomes.
• Implement therapeutic exercises and manual techniques, utilizing modalities such as heat, ice, or electrical stimulation to enhance recovery.
• Guide and educate patients on effective body mechanics and posture to facilitate comfort and prevent further injury.
• Continuously monitor patient progress and modify treatment approaches as necessary to ensure optimal results.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians and other healthcare professionals, to optimize patient care and outcomes.
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of patient treatments, progress, and communications in compliance with regulatory standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patients you will serve come from diverse backgrounds and suffer from an array of conditions, including but not limited to back and neck pain, osteoarthritis-related joint pain, tendonitis, fractures, and post-surgical rehabilitation. Your role will be pivotal in helping individuals regain independence and improve their daily function, using a variety of techniques tailored to their specific diagnoses and rehabilitation goals.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist in Nevada.
• Board certification by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) is preferred.
• A minimum of one year of clinical experience in a physical therapy setting, preferably in home care.
• Adeep understanding of contemporary therapeutic techniques and modalities.
• Strong analytical skills to evaluate clinical situations and determine the best course of treatment.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are essential for effective interactions with patients and their families.

Preferred Experience

While candidates with at least one year of experience are encouraged to apply, those with further experience in conditions managed through home health interventions or outpatient settings will find themselves at an advantage. An aptitude for using advanced physical therapy technologies, such as ultrasound or electrical stimulation units, will also enhance your candidacy.

Compensation and Benefits
