Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to determine the needs of children with developmental challenges.
• Actively participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs) to create tailored support for each child and family.
• Monitor and evaluate progress as a collaborative team member, ensuring effective outcomes for the child’s development.
• Provide essential support and guidance to families, equipping them with strategies to enhance their child’s development.
• Implement evidence-based practices and adhere to the Natural Learning Environment Practices framework.
• Establish rapport and trust with children, families, and team colleagues to cultivate a positive and healthy learning atmosphere.
• Maintain compliance with all relevant federal and state regulations and ensure the health and safety standards are upheld.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with infants and toddlers facing developmental delays, alongside their families, within the community health space. Your role will involve understanding the unique needs of these young clients and collaborating with families to provide the best possible outcomes through tailored interventions and ongoing support.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Master’s Degree or Doctorate in Social Work.
• Active LCSW license issued by the Department of Public Health.
• Valid driver's license; transportation may be necessary for certain family support activities.
• Commitment to adapting approaches and methodologies to accommodate the diverse needs of each child.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of one year of experience in early intervention settings, demonstrating effective engagement with children and families.
• Familiarity with Natural Learning Environment Practices is highly regarded.

Compensation and Benefits
