Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct and facilitate supportive one-on-one counseling sessions tailored to the individual's therapeutic needs.

• Implement and monitor therapeutic treatment plans by observing, documenting, and reporting patient information accurately.

• Educate patients and families about the clinic’s processes and available resources, ensuring a comfortable transition into treatment.

• Maintain compliance with departmental standards by writing clear, concise progress notes by the end of each shift that reflect patient progression toward established treatment goals.

• Utilize effective time management skills to prioritize tasks, ensuring that all patient interactions are meaningful and productive.

• Crisis management responsibilities include assessing and responding to any changes in a patient's condition and providing appropriate interventions as necessary.

• Foster communication with patients and advocate for their needs, facilitating referrals or additional services when appropriate.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Safe Horizon Counseling, you will work with a richly diverse population, including children, adolescents, adults, and families from varied backgrounds. Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field is required.

• Current licensure in the state of California as an LPCC, LCSW, LMFT, or PsyD.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting is essential.
