Job Title: Section Chief, Multifamily Finance Super NOFA Classification: SUPERVISOR II (Salary $7,872.00 – $9,781.00 per month) Location: Sacramento, CA Telework: Hybrid Job Type: Permanent, Full Time Responsibilities Under the general direction of the Branch Chief (Manager II), the incumbent oversees and directs first level supervisors who administer the Multifamily Finance Super NOFA workload across a variety of housing and community development programs. The incumbent works collaboratively with another MFSN Section Chief to jointly administer the Branch’s programs and workload, consults, apprises, and advises the Branch Chief as directed. The MFSN Unit is primarily responsible for designing and implementing state-funded affordable housing programs, developing program guidelines, issuing Notices of Funding Availability, reviewing applications, and recommending funding. Minimum Requirements Classification: SUPERVISOR II Desirable Qualifications Ability to effectively work and communicate with Branch Management and staff. Ability to work with other governmental agencies. Knowledge of state and federal regulations and policies related to housing. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills. Experience developing and implementing employee engagement and recognition initiatives. Proficiency with Excel, PowerBI, and other data software. Experience leading organizational and/or system improvements. Experience researching and analyzing policy and data and presenting information effectively both orally, in writing, or visually/graphically.
