Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed evaluations of patients' physical abilities, including a review of medical history, conducting specific assessments, and formulating personalized treatment plans.
• Communicate evaluation results and treatment strategies effectively to patients and their families, involving them in the goal-setting process to encourage commitment to their recovery.
• Implement tailored treatment protocols that reflect each patient's unique needs and the latest healthcare practices, adapting as necessary to accommodate ongoing health developments.
• Regularly consult with fellow healthcare professionals to optimize patient care, recognizing shifts in patient condition, and modifying treatment plans for improved outcomes.
• Manage discharge planning and follow-up care, maintaining precise documentation of treatment processes and patient progress while ensuring compliance with healthcare standards.
• Exhibit effective time management skills, achieving clinic productivity goals and promptly attending scheduled meetings.Participate in local marketing initiatives to enhance community outreach and awareness of our services.
• Contribute to departmental objectives and compliance with all regulatory standards, playing an active role in the continuous improvement of clinic practices.
• Pursue ongoing professional education to maintain competence and to mentor and instruct students as needed.
• Facilitate a positive patient experience by demonstrating flexibility and responsiveness to patient needs, engaging actively in identifying and addressing barriers to care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic serves a diverse population, treating patients with varying conditions including sports injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, chronic pain, and age-related physical limitations. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
• Hold a valid state license to practice physical therapy in Florida.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of experience in a physical therapy setting, preferably in outpatient care.

Compensation and Benefits
