Work Environment

The position is an onsite role where you will work directly with clients in their homes. Our work culture is collaborative and supportive, fostering professional growth. Working hours are Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations to assess physical limitations and establish personalized treatment plans.
• Provide one-on-one physical therapy sessions, focusing on restoring mobility and enhancing functional movement.
• Maintain a manageable patient load to ensure quality time and attention are devoted to each individual.
• Employ evidence-based practices to implement non-surgical treatment alternatives that improve patients' physical capabilities.
• Develop and implement comprehensive care plans that integrate various treatment modalities and wellness programs.
• Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of treatment strategies and adjust plans as necessary to optimize patient progress.
• Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) systems for accurate documentation and tracking of patient care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic care that addresses both physical and emotional health.
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises and lifestyle changes to enhance recovery and promote ongoing health.
• Motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, empowering them to achieve their health goals.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role specifically caters to individuals requiring outpatient physical therapy, particularly those who have undergone orthopedic procedures or face mobility challenges due to various conditions. Our patient population includes a diverse range of ages, from younger athletes recovering from injuries to older adults managing chronic pain or post-surgical rehabilitation. Your ability to tailor treatment approaches will significantly enhance their rehabilitation experience.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or related field; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• Current and valid Physical Therapist license in Florida.
• No history of sanctions or board proceedings on your professional record.
• Strong knowledge of orthopedic outpatient care, with a proven track record of successful patient outcomes.
• Familiarity with modern EMR systems, especially WebPT, for effective documentation.
• Demonstrated expertise in manual therapy techniques and the development of exercise programs tailored to individual needs.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in a home care setting or outpatient clinic environment.
• Experience in sports rehabilitation or working with athletes of various levels is a plus.
• In-depth understanding of evidence-based approaches to physical therapy and recovery.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
