Work Environment

This full-time position requires onsite work within our clients' homes across the Tampa area. Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist, you will:

• Direct and implement physical therapy treatments aimed at preventing disabilities, relieving pain, and improving client functionality in accordance with individualized care plans.
• Oversee the work of physical therapy assistants to ensure proper adherence to established plans of care.
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of clients' functional abilities using advanced diagnostic methods to determine appropriate therapy interventions.
• Assess the home environment and recommend modifications to support rehabilitation efforts, thereby increasing clients' independence and quality of life.
• Provide direct physical therapy services, which may include administering manual therapeutic exercises and instructing clients in non-manual activities aimed at enhancing their functional mobility.
• Assess, fit, adjust, and recommend prosthetic and orthotic devices as part of clients' treatment regimens.
• Document clinical evaluations, care plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries in compliance with healthcare standards and protocols.
• Engage in team conferences to collaboratively analyze and modify treatment plans as necessary to ensure efficacy and optimize outcomes.
• Educate and empower clients and their families regarding physical therapy techniques and the use of therapy devices for continued care at home.
• Participate in continuous professional development and stay updated on best practices in home healthcare and physical therapy.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
