Work Environment

This onsite position requires visiting clients in their homes across Tampa, Florida. You will work closely with a diverse team of healthcare professionals and support staff to coordinate patient care efficiently while ensuring all treatments are safe and effective. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial client evaluations to assess physical capabilities and formulate individualized treatment plans aimed at addressing specific functional limitations.
• Guide and direct the treatment process, implementing various therapies to alleviate pain, restore mobility, and prevent disabilities.
• Oversee the work of Physical Therapy Assistants (PTAs), ensuring adherence to best practices and the tailored care plan.
• Utilize diagnostic and prognostic tests to adjust treatment strategies based on client progress and response.
• Integrate evaluations of the home environment to recommend necessary modifications that will enhance client independence.
• Document clinical progress and alterations in patient status through comprehensive records, including initial assessments, care plans, and discharge summaries.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to collaboratively discuss and evaluate client progress, adapting care plans as necessary.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will focus on a variety of clients, including elderly patients, post-surgical individuals, and those recovering from injury. By delivering at-home therapy, you will play a critical role in patient recovery and adaptation, addressing both physical and emotional needs through personalized interaction and therapy.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required.
• Minimum of one year of experience in a clinical setting, preferably in home care.
• Current and valid PT licensure in good standing within the State of Florida.
• Certification in CPR and a valid driver's license with automobile insurance are necessary for conducting home visits.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in managing complex cases in home care settings while addressing multifaceted patient needs.
• Familiarity with rehabilitative equipment and techniques to improve client mobilization and independence.
• Ability to build rapport with patients and their families, enhancing their understanding and adherence to therapy.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive yearly salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience. Additional benefits may include health insurance, paid time off, continuing education allowances, and opportunities for professional development.
