Work Environment

This full-time position is primarily onsite at our Tampa outpatient clinic, where you will work from Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm. Key Responsibilities

• Provide individualized physical therapy services tailored to meet each patient's unique goals and functional requirements.
• Assess patient conditions using comprehensive evaluations and develop precise treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.
• Maintain a manageable patient caseload to ensure high-quality interactions and dedicated attention to each patient.
• Employ a variety of effective treatment techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities to enhance recovery.
• Encourage non-surgical solutions, educating patients about alternative treatment options to reduce dependence on medications.
• Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to patient care and successful outcomes.
• Continuously monitor and document patient progress, adjusting care plans as needed based on ongoing assessments.
• Motivate and support patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, reinforcing the importance of adherence to treatment plans.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our outpatient clinic primarily serves a diverse patient population, ranging from athletes recovering from sports injuries to older adults seeking to improve balance and mobility. Qualifications

• Must possess a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Hold a valid and active Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida without any disciplinary actions or sanctions.
• Exhibit proficiency in various manual therapy techniques and the latest rehabilitation methodologies.
• Demonstrate solid clinical judgment and the ability to adapt treatment plans accordingly based on patient progress.
• Capable of effectively using electronic medical records (EMR) systems, with a preference for experience in Web PT.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of advancements in physical therapy techniques supported by current research.

Preferred Experience

While a newly licensed Physical Therapist is welcome to apply, prior experience in an outpatient setting, particularly orthopedics, is highly desirable. Proficiency in creating and executing customized exercise programs will be an asset, as will an exceptional ability to engage and motivate patients through their recovery.

Compensation and Benefits

Atlantic Health Therapy offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 yearly, depending on experience and qualifications.
