Body Dynamics Physical Therapy & Wellness is seeking a dedicated and skilled Full-Time Physical Therapist to become an integral part of our dynamic team at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center located in sunny Tampa, Florida. Work Environment

This position requires an onsite presence in our modern rehabilitation center, equipped with the latest technology and resources. The environment is designed to support collaborative care, allowing therapists to work closely with one another, share strategies, and learn best practices. Operating hours are Monday through Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm, providing a structured schedule that allows for work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individualized physical therapy to patients, carefully evaluating their conditions and developing tailored treatment plans that target their unique needs and goals.
• Manage a balanced patient load to ensure each individual receives thorough attention, fostering a therapeutic environment conducive to healing.
• Leverage your background in orthopedic care to deliver specialized treatments that promote recovery from injuries, enhance functional capacities, and alleviate pain.
• Implement cost-effective treatment modalities and document their effectiveness, facilitating continuous improvement and ensuring a reduction in reliance on surgical or pharmacological interventions.
• Create comprehensive care plans that incorporate a variety of therapeutic techniques, including exercise prescriptions specifically designed to address the diverse needs of patients.
• Motivate patients throughout their recovery journey, providing educational resources to promote understanding of their conditions and involving them in their own care.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary health care team, enhancing the quality of care through shared insights and strategies while ensuring continuity of services.
• Continuously assess and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to maximize outcomes and address any new challenges as they arise.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be working primarily with patients who are seeking treatment for orthopedic-related issues and sports injuries. This diverse patient population includes active individuals ranging from athletes to everyday fitness enthusiasts, all of whom require personalized attention and effective rehabilitation strategies to move efficiently and pain-free.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) program is required.
• Possession of an active and unblemished Physical Therapist license, with no history of sanctions or board proceedings.
• Demonstrated expertise in manual therapy techniques and a strong aptitude for developing successful exercise programs tailored to individual patient needs.
• Proficient in using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software, particularly WebPT, to maintain precise and thorough documentation of patient interactions.
• A commitment to staying current with evolving physical therapy practices based on the latest research evidence.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting is preferred, ideally focused on sports rehabilitation.
• An understanding of contemporary treatment modalities and clinical best practices.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this full-time position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
