We are looking for a detail-oriented Billing Clerk to support accurate invoicing and account follow-up for our team in Louisville, Kentucky. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone who is organized, comfortable working with computerized billing tools, and able to manage billing activity with a high level of accuracy. The person in this role will help maintain timely statements, assist with collections-related tasks, and ensure billing records remain current and well documented.

Responsibilities:
• Prepare and issue customer invoices with accuracy and in accordance with established billing procedures.
• Review account information and billing records to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
• Generate and distribute billing statements on a scheduled basis while maintaining complete documentation.
• Support collection efforts by monitoring outstanding balances and following up on overdue accounts professionally.
• Enter, update, and maintain billing data within computerized billing systems to keep records accurate and current.
• Work with internal teams to verify charges, confirm account details, and address billing-related questions.
• Reconcile billing activity and account balances to help ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Assist with routine administrative tasks related to billing operations, recordkeeping, and account maintenance.• Experience performing billing-related duties in an administrative, accounting, or finance support role.
• Working knowledge of invoice processing, account follow-up, and statement preparation.
• Ability to support collection activities with professionalism and attention to detail.
• Proficiency using computerized billing systems and standard office software.
• Strong data entry skills with a high degree of accuracy and organization.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills for handling billing inquiries and account issues.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a structured environment.
