Offers are typically made below the top of the range to support future salary growth.Position Summary: Patient Safety Monitor, Full-time 32 Hours per Week, Nights, 11 pm - 7:30 am LawrenceUnder the supervision of a registered nurse, as a Patient Safety Monitor you will provide one-to-one, two-to-one, or rounding observation of patients who have been deemed a safety risk to themselves and/or others. They assist in the provision of a safe and clean environment and provide assistance with activities of daily living, when appropriate. Communicates changes in behavior / activity to the registered nurse.Education and Related Experience:Minimum Required:High School Diploma or equivalentBCLS or Heart Savor certificationKnowledge and skills necessary to provide a safe environmentPossesses the judgment and ability to effectively communicate observed changes Required training to be completed within 30 days:Completion of a certified crisis intervention training programUniversal precautions and Infection controlSeizure safety/protocolsFall protocols/preventionRestraintsSuicide PrecautionsPreferred:Clinical work experience
