Work Environment

This position is onsite at our rehabilitation center, which fosters a collaborative and supportive work environment. Our team consists of committed healthcare professionals dedicated to providing exceptional patient care. The clinic is equipped with the latest technology and therapeutic tools, enhancing our capacity to offer specialized treatment options. The typical work schedule is Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities

• Devise and implement individualized treatment plans that address each patient's unique needs, enhancing their functional capabilities and quality of life.
• Assess patient progress consistently and modify treatment interventions based on evidence-based practices and the latest research in physical therapy.
• Conduct thorough initial evaluations to identify patient limitations and establish rehabilitation goals, fostering a tailored approach to care.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques and equipment, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities to facilitate recovery.
• Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, management techniques, and effective home exercises to support ongoing rehabilitation efforts.
• Maintain meticulous documentation using EMR systems, specifically Web PT, ensuring accuracy and compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, occupational therapists, and fitness trainers, to create a comprehensive rehabilitation plan for each patient.
• Monitor and encourage patient engagement and adherence to their treatment plans, providing motivation and support throughout their recovery journey.
• Foster a positive and motivational environment by promoting a healthy lifestyle that incorporates strength training, flexibility, and coordination exercises.
• Actively participate in ongoing professional development activities to stay current with advancements in physical therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At Flagship Healthcare Center, you will work primarily with a diverse outpatient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, athletic injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Our focus on sports medicine means you will have ample opportunities to work with active individuals of all ages, guiding them through personalized recovery programs that emphasize functional mobility and quality performance in their daily lives.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program is required.
• Current and valid Physical Therapist license in the state of New Jersey, with no record of sanctions or disciplinary actions.
• A strong foundation in orthopedic physical therapy, complemented by exceptional manual therapy skills and a track record of creating and implementing successful exercise programs.
• Proficiency in using EMR systems, particularly Web PT, to maintain precise and up-to-date patient documentation.
• In-depth knowledge of evidence-based physical therapy techniques, both current and emerging.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective interaction with patients, families, and members of the healthcare team.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working in an outpatient clinical setting, ideally within a sports medicine or rehabilitation context.
• Hands-on experience with various therapeutic modalities and rehabilitation technologies.
• A history of designing and executing tailored wellness programs for different patient demographics.
• Demonstrated ability to motivate patients and engage them in their rehabilitation process effectively.

Compensation and Benefits

Flagship Healthcare Center offers a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $120,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
