Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a public healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support access awareness throughout the property. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $18.87 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon: 11:30 PM - 08:00 AM Tue: 11:30 PM - 08:00 AM Fri: 11:30 PM - 08:00 AM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a public sector healthcare location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with staff, visitors, and public agency personnel as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions. Monitor access points and help to verify authorized entry for employees, visitors, patients, and vendors in accordance with site protocols and/or government location requirements. Document incidents, observations, and/or daily activities, and report maintenance concerns, hazards, or policy-related issues to site leadership and Allied Universal management. Minimum Requirements: Hospital vaccine requirements must be met. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
