Lecturer Position in Electrical Engineering
RIT's Department of Electrical and Microelectronic Engineering invites applications for a non-tenure track position as a lecturer to teach courses in Electrical Engineering curriculum such as circuits, electronics (both digital and analog), digital systems, microcomputers, linear systems, semiconductors, and programming.
Applicants are expected to have a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field. Exceptional candidates with a master's degree and significant industrial experience will also be considered. Successful candidates must have demonstrated potential for high-quality teaching and a willingness to implement innovative teaching methodologies. Other responsibilities include advising and mentoring students, supervising co-curricular activities, developing courses and lab modules, participating in / leading K-12 and industry outreach, and managing lab facilities. Candidates with previous college-level teaching experience may be considered for a senior lecturer position or receive credit toward fulfilling the requirements for promotion to senior lecturer.

Qualifications:
- Doctorate in Electrical Engineering or closely related field. Exceptional candidates with master's degrees and extensive industry experience will be considered.
- Ability and commitment to effectively teach and mentor undergraduate and graduate students
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Interest in working in a collaborative, collegial environment
- Prior course or lab (Teaching Assistant) teaching experience in electrical engineering related fields
