Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mood disorder symptoms, focusing on the intensity, frequency, and duration of their experiences.

• Collaborate with clients to create individualized treatment plans that align with their unique needs, goals, and personal preferences.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to effectively address mood disorders.

• Engage in the education and support of clients and their families regarding the nature of mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care practices.

• Monitor client progress closely and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Work alongside psychiatrists and other medical professionals to provide integrated care, attending to both mental and physical health needs.

• Stay informed on the latest research and advancements in mood disorder treatments to enhance therapeutic effectiveness.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Mind Marvel Institute, you will work primarily with individuals suffering from a range of mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety disorders. Our client base includes diverse populations such as homeless individuals, refugees, and survivors of domestic abuse. Your role will significantly impact their recovery journeys by helping them navigate their mental health challenges.

Qualifications\n

• Current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
