Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health evaluations via video conferencing platforms, accurately documenting your findings and formulating detailed treatment plans based on individual assessments.

• Facilitate engaging individual therapy sessions, adapting therapeutic techniques to meet the specific needs and preferences of clients, ensuring a high level of care throughout their journey.

• Lead group therapy sessions that nurture community and support among participants, encouraging sharing and mutual growth while employing evidence-based strategies to foster discussion.

• Regularly monitor and evaluate client progress, adjusting intervention plans as necessary to reflect changing needs and outcomes.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to create integrated care plans that address both mental and physical health issues.

• Stay current with developments in psychotherapy practices and approaches, contributing your knowledge to team discussions and case reviews.

• Provide education and support to family members and primary caregivers, equipping them with tools to manage mental health challenges effectively.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with adults facing a range of mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Your expertise will not only help individuals but may also involve working with couples and families aimed at creating healthier dynamics and improved communication. By understanding the diverse challenges our clients encounter, you will be instrumental in guiding them toward enhanced mental health and well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A valid Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California.

• Successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
\n
• Exceptional understanding of mental health principles and practices with demonstrated counseling experience.

Preferred Experience\n

• Familiarity with electronic health record systems, specifically AVATAR, to maintain accurate records of client interactions and treatment plans.

• Experience in addressing co-occurring disorders and familiarity with addiction treatment methodologies.

• A deep understanding of and adherence to best practices as outlined by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

• Strong communication skills, enabling you to convey complex concepts clearly and compassionately.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The position offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
