Don’t settle for ordinary when extraordinary is within reach.Summary:This role supports the IT Manager in providing day-to-day technical support across United CNC's office and shop floor, including user account management, Microsoft 365 support, hardware and network troubleshooting, and assistance with cybersecurity and compliance efforts (CMMC 2.0+, NIST, ITAR).Key Responsibilities: The primary duties consist of but are not limited to the following.IT Systems & User SupportProvide daily technical support to office and shop floor employeesSet up, configure, and maintain computers, printers, and mobile devicesManage user accounts, passwords, and access permissionsTroubleshoot hardware, software, and network issuesSupport Microsoft 365 environment (email, Teams, file access)Network & Infrastructure SupportAssist in maintaining network connectivity across both facilitiesSupport Wi-Fi, routers, switches, and basic network troubleshootingHelp ensure up time of production-related systems and equipment connectivityCybersecurity & ComplianceAssist in maintaining cybersecurity policies and best practicesSupport compliance efforts for CMMC 2.0+, NIST, and ITARHelp monitor systems for vulnerabilities and unusual activityAssist with access control, MFA enforcement, and device securityParticipate in internal audits and compliance documentationDocumentation & Asset ManagementMaintain IT documentation, procedures, and logsTrack IT equipment, licenses, and inventoryAssist with onboarding/offboarding processesManufacturing Environment SupportSupport IT needs on the shop floor (machine connectivity, terminals, etc.)Work closely with operations to minimize downtimeHelp ensure systems supporting production remain stable and secureQualifications Required:Basic knowledge of computers, networks, and troubleshootingStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailGood communication and customer service mindsetAbility to handle sensitive information with discretionPreferred:Coursework, certification, or experience in IT or CybersecurityFamiliarity with:Microsoft 365Windows OSBasic networking conceptsInterest in cybersecurity or compliance frameworksKey CompetenciesStrategic thinker with strong leadership skillsDetail-oriented with a compliance-first mindsetAbility to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholdersProactive problem solver in high-stakes environmentsPhysical & Mental Demands: The following physical and mental demands consist of but are not limited to the following.Must be able to work in a sitting position for extended periods of time (at desk, while driving, and/or travel) in an office/industrial environment.Manual dexterity to perform data entry functions.Ability to bend, pull, stoop, and reach to perform functions.Must be able to lift 40 pounds.May be exposed to moving machinery, sharp metal chips, coolants, industrial chemicals, noise, heavy materials, etc.Must have the cognitive and mental capacity to perform essential job functions.Must be able to communicate effectively orally and in writing.Visual acuity to read documents, computer screens, files, etc.Ability to hear in person and via phone.United CNC Machining is an Equal Opportunity Employer #J-18808-Ljbffr United-CNC-Machining-1
