Accountant

G.A. Johnson Construction, a well established Construction Management and Design Build company, is seeking an EXPERIENCED Accountant. Successful candidate must have a history of 5 years of successful performance in a similar position. Position: Full‑time, Monday to Friday. Location: Harrisburg, SD. Benefits after 90 days include health, dental, and vision insurance, paid holidays and vacation, and a 401K plan. Duties & Responsibilities Accounts Payable Accounts Receivable Payroll Monthly Financial Statements Assist in year‑end annual audits Requirements Experience in accounting, financial reporting, payroll processing, and benefit administration Solid understanding of accounting principles and applications Experience and knowledge of payroll principles and tax reporting requirements Ability to organize and communicate effectively (both verbal and written) Preferred Qualifications Five (5) or more years of accounting, financial reporting, payroll processing, and benefit administration Experience with Sage accounting software Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) Excellent written and oral communication skills Relocation assistance available Willingness to train on company accounting processes Benefits: Health Insurance, 401K, PTO.
