This full-time position allows you to work remotely from the comfort of your home while delivering essential mental health services to clients in Spokane, Washington. This role offers the flexibility of remote work, allowing you to maintain a work-life balance that suits your personal needs. You will engage with clients during standard business hours from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing you to effectively plan your professional responsibilities along with personal commitments.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the severity, frequency, and duration of clients' mood disorder symptoms, utilizing standardized assessment tools and individualized interviews.

• Collaborate with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that reflect their unique experiences, preferences, and goals, factoring in their cultural backgrounds and personal strengths.
\n
• Employ evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), specifically designed to treat mood disorders.

• Provide educational resources and support to clients and their families about mood disorders, including effective treatment options and self-care strategies, to foster understanding and empowerment.
\n
• Continuously monitor client progress throughout the treatment process, making data-informed adjustments to treatment plans as necessary to facilitate effective outcomes.
\n
• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists, primary care physicians, and other healthcare professionals to create an integrated care experience for clients, ensuring that all aspects of their health are comprehensively addressed.

• Stay informed of current research and developments in mood disorder treatment to enhance therapeutic practices and improve patient outcomes.
\n
• Maintain thorough and confidential documentation of all client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in regular case consultations and team meetings to enhance clinical practices and share insights with fellow health professionals.

• Act as a mental health advocate, working to de-stigmatize mood disorders and promote understanding both within the clinic and the broader community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with individuals affected by mood disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. You will have the opportunity to engage with a diverse array of clients, tailoring your therapeutic approach to address the unique needs and backgrounds of each person.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as either a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), or Psychologist in Washington State.

• Demonstrated proficiency in evidence-based treatment modalities, particularly within mood disorders.
\n
• A solid understanding of psychopharmacology to facilitate effective collaboration with psychiatrists and medical teams.
\n
• Strong communication skills with a proven ability to build rapport with clients from various backgrounds.
