Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health evaluations and preliminary interviews to understand client needs, ensuring a comprehensive assessment from the moment they seek assistance.

• Develop tailored treatment plans for individuals, couples, families, and group therapy settings, focusing on evidence-based interventions that cater to unique psychological challenges.

• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, employing various therapeutic modalities to encourage dialogue and healing.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and active licensure as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in the state of California.
\n
• Successful completion of the National Counselor Exam (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
\n
• Proficiency in using electronic health records, particularly with systems like AVATAR.
\n
• Strong understanding of various mental health disorders and their intersection with physical health and addiction issues.
\n
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling effective interaction with clients, families, and colleagues.

• Exemplary interpersonal skills, characterized by a compassionate approach and a genuine commitment to client welfare.

Preferred Experience\n

• Prior experience as a mental health counselor in a clinical or community health setting.

• Familiarity with the best practices endorsed by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) and knowledge of the effects of various psychotropic medications.

Compensation and Benefits\n
