Strategic Project Lead with J.D. for AI Model Training

Lead high-impact AI training engagements focused on legal domain expertise. As the Strategic Project Lead, J.D., you will be the main point of contact for top AI Lab customers, manage teams of Human Data Managers and subject-matter experts in Legal, and own the design and execution of large-scale, domain-specific data pipelines that ensure data integrity, scalability, and quality for frontier model training.

• Own projects end to end, delivering excellent outcomes and ensuring top AI Lab clients are highly satisfied.
• Design, operate, and improve complex, domain-specific data pipelines to increase efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
• Manage teams of Human Data Managers and Leads who review and coordinate the work of legal subject-matter experts.
• Serve as the primary client-facing contact, communicating directly with top AI Labs on massive, high-impact projects.
• Partner with Human Data Engineers to define, track, and optimize KPIs across expert-driven workflows.
• Provide executive-level insights, updates, and recommendations on project status, data performance, and operational impact.
• Report directly to the Chief Executive Officer and the Head of Human Data.

• Juris Doctor, JD degree, required.
• Minimum 2 years in a leadership role driving operational processes, managing large-scale or domain-heavy data projects, or optimizing complex workflows.
• Proven skills in leadership and team management, data operations, and human data processes.
• Background in data operations, engineering, computer science, or deep domain exposure in Legal work.
• Exceptional interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, especially when working with senior legal experts.
• Startup and entrepreneurial mindset, with a passion for building systems from the ground up and rapidly executing solutions.
• Willingness to work long hours, including weekends, as needed in a fast-moving startup environment.

• Posted total compensation range for the role, $400, 000 to $550, 000 per year.
• National pay range disclosed for this full-time position, base salary $180, 000 to $230, 000 USD.
• All employees are eligible for equity compensation.
