Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for older adults, focusing on their unique challenges and needs, including cognitive and emotional health.

• Develop and customize individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based practices while addressing the patients’ physical health and social environments.

• Provide individual and family therapy sessions using validated therapeutic techniques to treat geriatric psychiatric conditions effectively.

• Collaborate with geriatric psychiatrists and interdisciplinary team members to deliver integrated, holistic care that encompasses the full spectrum of the patient’s health and well-being.

• Offer immediate crisis intervention during mental health emergencies, ensuring families and patients receive the support they require.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on the geriatric population, including elderly individuals facing a variety of mental health challenges. Qualifications\n

• Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited educational institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Washington.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 75,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
