Part-Time Office Assistant

The City of Farmington is accepting applications for a Part-Time Office Assistant to provide customer service and general clerical support in the City Office. Schedule: Monday-Friday, 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. Hours: 20 hours per week Duties Include Greeting and assisting residents and visitors to the City Office Accepting sewer payments and entering payments into the City's billing system Answering and directing incoming phone calls Filing, scanning, and organizing documents and records Assisting with general office duties and clerical projects Maintaining an organized front office, including light cleaning such as sweeping and tidying common areas Providing general support to City staff as needed Qualifications The ideal candidate will: Be dependable, friendly, and professional Have strong customer service and communication skills Be organized and attentive to detail Be comfortable using computers and learning City software Be able to accurately handle payments and maintain appropriate records Be able to maintain confidentiality when handling City information Be able to work independently and complete routine tasks with minimal supervision Previous office or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
