Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, offering the convenience of working from home while connecting with clients via telehealth platforms. In addition to teletherapy, you may occasionally conduct in-person sessions at our outpatient office in Albany, Oregon, as needed. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to their specific situations and goals.

• Facilitate therapy sessions in various formats, including individual, couples, family, and group settings, using evidence-based modalities.

• Monitor client progress over time, adjusting treatment strategies as needed to ensure the best possible outcomes.

• Deliver age-appropriate assessments and interventions, addressing the unique developmental needs of children, adolescents, and adults.

• Lead parent support groups and provide consultations focusing on attachment and parenting strategies, particularly with families navigating issues related to adoption and the effects of prenatal substance exposure.

• Maintain comprehensive clinical documentation, ensuring compliance with ethical guidelines and regulatory requirements.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with Sunshine Psychological Services, you will work with a diverse range of clients facing various challenges, including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma history, and more. Our client base primarily consists of individuals and families who seek supportive counseling and therapeutic interventions that promote emotional and relational wellness. We empower our clients to develop coping strategies and enhance their overall quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.

• Current, active state licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Oregon.

• A minimum of 2 years of direct experience in a clinical setting working with varied patient populations.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working with children and families, particularly in relation to adoption and issues concerning prenatal substance exposure.

• Proficiency in telehealth technologies and familiarity with clinical documentation software.

• Strong foundation in evidence-based therapeutic models, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or Family Systems Therapy.

Compensation and Benefits\n
