Key Responsibilities\n

As a Virtual Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting individual counseling sessions via secure video chat, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques tailored to client needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clients you will serve through our therapist network are pre-screened, stable individuals presenting with low acuity issues. You will focus on guiding clients through various mental health concerns, such as anxiety, depression, familial challenges, and coping strategies. Our emphasis on matching therapists to specific client demographics ensures that you can work within your expertise and comfort zones, fostering better therapeutic relationships and outcomes.

Qualifications\n

Candidates must possess the following qualifications to be considered for this role:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Counseling from an accredited institution.

• Possession of an independent license in the state of California, specifically as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). Limited or provisional licenses are not accepted.

• A proven ability to perform comprehensive evaluations and to inform treatment modifications based on client progress.

• Exceptional communication skills and an empathetic approach to client interactions.

• Strong proficiency in utilizing digital tools, platforms, and telehealth systems.

Preferred Experience\n

Ideal candidates will have experience working in diverse settings and addressing the unique challenges faced by various populations. Compensation and Benefits\n

Garden Way offers a competitive salary range of USD 115,000 – 130,000 per year, commensurate with experience and caseload. Our benefits package includes:
