Administrative Assistant

Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) is hiring an Administrative Assistant to work in our Administration Center in Bolivar, Missouri — someone who leads with skill, compassion, and a drive to positively impact every patient and family we serve.

Position Details

• Status: Full-time
• Work Shift: Days
• Hours: Mon-Fri, 8am-4:30pm

What Your Day Looks Like: You will ensure courteous and efficient operations of Administrative Office activities, maintain current and accurate Administrative records, assist in preparation and arrangement for Administrative meetings, assist with the preparation and distribution of Administrative correspondence, and develop, implement, and enforce policies and procedures.

As an Administrative Assistant, you will be

• Opening and closing the Administrative Center main entrance each weekday morning/evening ensuring to open/lock the doors, as well as activating the electric door openers and placing the standing sign appropriately.
• Answering all incoming calls and accurately directing calls or recording messages.
• Preparing and distributing Administrative correspondence and sorting and distributing outside mail as requested.
• Assisting leaders with their calendar appointments and meeting invitations.
• Booking Administrative Center meeting rooms and posting current weekly meeting schedule.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field preferred
• Experience: 3-5 years performing administrative level office work preferred
• Skills: Organization, communication, detail-oriented, Microsoft Word, Excel, Microsoft 365
• Licensure/Certification: N/A
• Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of sitting to perform computer tasks
