Work Environment\n

This position operates within a community health clinic framework, allowing you the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home while contributing to a multidisciplinary team dedicated to mental health advocacy. The current work schedule for this role is Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., providing a structured yet flexible working environment that prioritizes your professional needs and client preferences.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess mental health diagnoses and collaboratively create individualized treatment plans tailored to client needs.

• Maintain a caseload of 25-30 clients per week, ensuring high-quality, personalized therapy sessions ranging from individual to group formats.

• Utilize creative therapeutic interventions to help clients achieve and exceed their personal goals, making adjustments to treatment as necessary.

• Document all client interactions including ongoing assessments, treatment plan reviews, and case notes in compliance with clinic policies and state regulations.

• Foster strong relationships with clients while coordinating care with case managers, medical personnel, school staff, and family members to enhance treatment efficacy.

• Deliver exceptional customer service and create a warm, inclusive environment that encourages open communication and trust.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy is required, combined with active licensure as an LMFT in New York.
