HR Manager


Vaco is seeking an experienced HR Manager to support multi?state operations and strengthen people practices across a growing organization. This role plays a key part in improving retention, ensuring compliance, and enabling leaders to effectively manage and support their teams.


What You'll Do

• Lead day?to?day HR operations, employee relations, and compliance across CA, NV, and AZ
• Manage investigations, performance issues, corrective actions, and documentation
• Ensure adherence to federal and state labor laws, reducing risk and maintaining accurate records
• Partner closely with Operations, Training, and leadership to support strong, consistent store operations
• Support leave of absence, ADA/FEHA accommodations, and workers' compensation processes
• Assist with talent acquisition efforts, benefits administration, and pay practice alignment
• Help equip managers with tools and guidance for performance management and coaching

What We're Looking For

• Strong experience in HR operations, employee relations, and multi?state compliance
• Knowledge of CA labor laws (NV/AZ a plus)
• Ability to partner cross?functionally and balance people needs with business priorities
• Organized, proactive, and comfortable supporting fast?paced operations

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
