Job Description:
Project Details – Size, Scale, Scope?
- Reorganized so that this team does “commercial execution” – essentially data analytics - building the solutions onto the data products
- Connecting across consumer, customer, & product data
- Lead bigger global projects around AMZ for example or even supply chain (SAP)
- Data & analytics background – technical
Day to Day Responsibilities/typical day look like:
- Heading a technical team as a product owner as well as functioning as a lead engineer
- Partnering with the business product owner, SCRUM master, and then with the engineering team
- Will be a mix of product ownership work (70% of the time) and then also hands-on data visualization/data engineering work (30% or so of work)
- Will be working within Agile/SCRUM environment and helping with road-mapping, features, etc.
- Technically will be working with Tableau, SQL, and Cloud (AWS/Azure) as well as some data stats work with Python/R team (have data scientists with more of the exposure here as well who can help)
Top must-have technologies/required experience for the position:
- Experience managing back-logs (product owner or similar)
- Data experience (visualization/data pulling) (Must-haves: Tableau, SQL)
- Cloud experience (AWS or Azure)
- Agile/SCRUM experience
Preferred qualifications:
- SAP (may manage some of that)
