This fully remote, full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $100,000 annually, along with a sign-on bonus. Work Environment\n

This role is fully remote, which enables our counselors to offer flexible services while also maintaining a healthy work-life balance. We provide our team with the necessary technology and support to deliver effective care from home. Counselors have the flexibility to work either full-time (over 30 hours a week) or part-time (over 5 hours a week), allowing you to tailor your schedule to meet personal needs and circumstances. Key Responsibilities\n

As a Mental Health Counselor at Zallence, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Providing ethical and empathetic mental health counseling via video chat, establishing a trusting rapport with clients.

• Conducting ongoing assessments to identify client needs, strengths, and areas for growth.

• Developing personalized treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique situation and goals.

• Helping clients cultivate coping strategies, enhance problem-solving skills, and improve communication abilities.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with stable, low-acuity adults who seek support for a range of mental health issues. This includes anxiety, depression, relationship problems, and life transitions. Your role will be critical in assisting these clients in achieving better mental health outcomes through tailored interventions and support designed to enhance their emotional resilience and self-efficacy.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• A current, independent state license as an LMFT, LPC, LCSW, or PsyD with no active disciplinary actions.

• Strong interpersonal skills that enable effective communication with clients and empathy towards their situations.

• Proficiency with technology, particularly telehealth platforms, and a stable Wi-Fi connection to conduct sessions without interruption.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, candidates with prior experience in community health settings or who have worked with a similar patient demographic will have an advantage. Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities and evidence-based practices is a plus, as is experience in developing treatment plans.
