Remote Information Processing Clerk

Careerscape is recruiting on behalf of our client for an entry-level Information Processing Clerk to join their remote administrative team. Day to day, you will spend your time entering, verifying, and organizing information across digital systems, keeping records accurate and up to date. Responsibilities

• Enter and update data across internal databases and software systems
• Review documents and records for completeness and accuracy
• Sort, label, and file digital records according to established procedures
• Verify data by comparing it to source documents
• Correct data entry errors and flag inconsistencies to a supervisor
• Generate routine reports and summaries from processed data
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information at all times
• Respond to internal requests for records or information
• Assist with scanning, converting, and archiving paper documents
• Support other administrative and clerical tasks as needed

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• No prior experience necessary, internships or coursework a plus
• Strong typing skills with high accuracy
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage time effectively and meet daily deadlines
