Remote Live Chat Agent

Live Chat Agent We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Live Chat Agent to support the daily administrative and operational activities of our food and beverage business. The ideal candidate will help streamline operations, coordinate schedules, manage communications, and provide excellent customer support while ensuring smooth day-to-day business functions. Key Responsibilities Manage emails, calendars, and appointments for management. Respond to customer inquiries via email, phone, and chat in a professional manner. Process orders, update customer information, and maintain accurate records. Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and delivery partners regarding orders and shipments. Assist with inventory tracking and update stock records. Prepare invoices, purchase orders, and basic reports. Schedule meetings, staff shifts, and event bookings when needed. Perform data entry and maintain digital filing systems. Monitor online reviews and assist with social media messaging. Support marketing efforts by updating menus, promotions, and promotional materials. Handle other administrative tasks as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's degree is a plus). Previous experience as a Virtual Assistant, Administrative Assistant, Customer Service Representative, or similar role preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and time-management abilities. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace. Familiarity with Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Slack, and project management tools is an advantage. Experience using POS systems or food ordering platforms is a plus. Ability to multitask, work independently, and meet deadlines. Reliable internet connection and a dedicated home workspace. Preferred Skills Customer service and problem-solving skills. Data entry accuracy and attention to detail. Basic bookkeeping or invoice management experience. Knowledge of the food and beverage industry is an advantage.
