School Social Worker

Position Highlights

? Up to $65/hour local pay

? Full-time schedule (40 hours/week)

? Monday-Friday schedule

? Mileage reimbursement provided

? 36-week contract

? Potential for full school year assignment

What You'll Do

? Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in IEP/IHP development

? Provide school-based social work services and interventions

? Support students with social, emotional, and behavioral needs

? Work with families, educators, and support staff to promote student success

? Maintain documentation and compliance with school requirements

? Travel between school sites as needed throughout the day

Ideal Candidate

? Active California LCSW License

? Experience working with children preferred

? Experience supporting students with high behavioral needs and/or special needs strongly preferred

? Strong communication and collaboration skills

? Comfortable traveling between multiple school sites

Minimum Requirements:

• Holds a Professional Educator License with School Social Worker (SSW) endorsement as required by state, contract and/or facility

• May be required to have MSW or LCSW per state, contract or facility

• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice

• Current CPR if applicable

• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
