Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide immediate crisis counseling to non-violent patients experiencing mental health episodes, using evidence-based practices to de-escalate potentially volatile situations.

• Educate and train police personnel on effective strategies for de-escalating situations and understanding mental health issues among arrestees.

• Assist in conducting psychiatric evaluations in the field, determining the necessity for involuntary detention under 5150/5585 guidelines.
