Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity as a Special Education Teacher specializing in supporting students with Emotional and Behavioral Disorders in a vibrant middle school environment. This full-time role spans the academic year from September 18, 2026, through June 10, 2027, across standard Monday through Friday school hours, offering consistency and the chance to build strong relationships with students and staff.

In this position, you will make a lasting impact working within Setting II/III/center-based classrooms, fostering a supportive and structured environment for middle school students who require specialized behavioral and emotional guidance. You’ll have the resources to develop creative solutions and individualized plans for your caseload, collaborating closely with other educators and school personnel to ensure student success.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active Minnesota Special Education Teaching license (Tier 3 or Tier 4 required).
• Demonstrated experience serving students with Emotional and Behavioral Disorders.
• Expertise in adapting instructional approaches for varied developmental and behavioral needs.
• Skilled in collaborating with parents, paraprofessionals, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to provide a current resume for consideration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide targeted instruction and behavioral interventions to students in Setting II/III/center-based environments.
• Develop and implement IEPs tailored to individual student needs.
• Monitor and report on student progress; contribute to regular team meetings.
• Maintain compliant records and documentation.
