As a Special Education Teacher, you’ll play a crucial role in guiding learners with unique needs and helping them grow, both academically and personally. This contracted position runs from late August 2026 through early June 2027, with stable weekday hours that allow you to focus on making a genuine impact.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Minnesota Special Education Teacher license; only Tier 3 or Tier 4 licenses are accepted
• Proven experience working with diverse student populations in a special education setting
• Familiarity with individualized instruction and IEP development
• Strong communication and collaborative skills with educators, staff, and families
• Ability to foster a supportive learning environment tailored to Setting III/centerbase programming

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, individualized instruction to students as part of the LAUNCH program
• Develop, implement, and evaluate IEPs in partnership with team members and families
• Adapt curriculum strategies and resources to meet the varying needs of learners
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records
• Create a safe, respectful, and encouraging classroom climate
• Participate in school meetings, trainings, and professional development as required
