Dental Assistant ForwardDental Forest Home in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, is looking for an experienced Dental Assistant to join our team. Pay Range: $19.00 to $25.00 per hour Experience Requested: 2 to 3 years Dental Software: Dentrix Practice Hours Monday: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Tuesday through Thursday: 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM Friday: 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM What We Are Looking For The ideal candidate will have 2 to 3 years of Dental Assistant experience and general computer knowledge. Experience using Dentrix is preferred. The successful candidate should be able to: Work effectively with patients and team members from a variety of backgrounds Work independently while also contributing to a collaborative team environment Manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced dental office Anticipate the next steps in patient care and office flow after completing initial training Remain dependable and flexible when patient care extends beyond normal office hours Why Heartland Dental? Minimum Qualifications Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology Experience working in a fast-paced and customer-centric environment If required under the state dental practice act, dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification Excellent communication and organizational skills The position will have access to minimum PHI necessary for performing job-related functions; regular HIPAA training, aligning with the specific role and responsibilities, will be required; and the individual will need to protect PHI and maintain data safeguards. Preferred Experience 1+years of experiencein a dental setting Dentrix or other dental software experience Dental assisting school certification Physical Requirements Ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodation.
