Nutrition Program Specialist

Nutrition Program Specialist (Analyst II) Salary: $6,031.00 - $7,547.00 per month. Responsibilities Oversee application process and manage a caseload for School Nutrition Program (SNP) Operators. Research and develop guidance and technical assistance materials for dissemination to SNP Operators. Advise the NPU supervisor and other team members on unusual and sensitive issues, research problems and recommend alternatives to management for resolution. Independently prepare letters, bulletins, memos and emails to communicate regulatory requirements and state and federal policies. Coordinate and assist with the development of training materials and presentations for nutrition program conferences; attendance at conferences may be required. Minimum Qualifications ANALYST II ANALYST I Desirable Qualifications Strong written and verbal communication skills; and excellent analytical and presentation skills. Ability to learn new programs and software quickly. Excellent organizational and computer skills (e.g., Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Excel, Word, Teams, PowerPoint). Must be able to work within timelines and deadlines and prioritize workload. Positive interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with a wide range of personalities.
