California Correctional Health Care Services Title: Health Program Specialist I – Salinas Valley State Prison (SVSP) Classification: HEALTH PROGRAM SPECIALIST I Salary: $6,623.00 – $8,290.00 per month Employment Type: 12 Month Limited Term – Full Time Work Location: Monterey County, California Responsibilities Perform high‑level special studies and projects related to establishing and monitoring the institution’s Joint Commission accreditation in conjunction with the Health Program Specialist II. Facilitate improvement projects at the institution and conduct technical Joint Commission assessments. Collaborate with the joint commission unit and the Health Program Manager III. Travel up to 25% to other institutions and headquarters. Minimum Requirements Minimum Requirements are detailed in the Class Specification for Health Program Specialist I.
