Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, you will play an integral role in our treatment team through the following responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of patients to determine their mental health needs and develop personalized treatment plans.

• Regularly monitor patient outcomes and progress, utilizing evidence-based practices to adjust therapies as necessary.

• Administer psychological evaluations, interpreting results to guide treatment decisions.
\n
• Document patient progress meticulously, maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and using electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Participate in case conferences and treatment team meetings, sharing your insights and best practices to enhance collaborative care.

• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including psychologists, social workers, and case managers, to ensure holistic care for all patients.

• Develop and implement therapeutic activities, which may include facilitating group therapy sessions and organizing recreational activities to promote social skills and emotional well-being.

• Utilize a coaching model and natural environment teaching to engage patients in their therapy journey effectively.

Qualifications\n

To successfully fulfill the requirements of this position, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Professional Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in the state of California.

• A minimum of three (3) years of professional counseling experience, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of clinical practices.

• Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to collaborate effectively with individuals from diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly in documentation and record-keeping.

• Proficiency in medical documentation, including familiarity with EHR systems.

Preferred Experience\n

While the above qualifications are essential, candidates with experience in group therapy facilitation, trauma-informed care, or specialized behavioral health programs will be given preference. Experience with community outreach and engagement initiatives would also be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n
