Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your daily responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Providing individual, family, and group therapy sessions tailored to the unique needs of clients, with a strong emphasis on developing therapeutic relationships.

• Conducting thorough initial assessments and ongoing evaluations to monitor client progress and adapt treatment plans accordingly.

• Designing and implementing personalized treatment plans that align with best practices and evidence-based methodologies.

• Actively engaging in multi-disciplinary team meetings to contribute insights, share client progress, and collaborate on comprehensive care strategies.

• Documenting sessions and maintaining accurate records in compliance with state regulations and organizational policies, ensuring confidentiality and quality assurance.

• Providing crisis intervention when necessary, supporting clients in acute distress and collaborating with emergency services when warranted.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with individuals experiencing substance use disorders alongside mental health conditions such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, and related issues. Our client base reflects a diverse demographic, including various ages, backgrounds, and socioeconomic statuses. You will play an integral part in helping clients navigate their challenges, facilitating their journeys toward recovery and enhanced well-being.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field.

• A valid and active license in good standing with the Board of Behavioral Science, such as LMFT, LPC, LCSW, PsyD, or comparable license.

• Experience and training in addressing substance abuse and mental health disorders.
\n
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to engage clients effectively in a virtual setting.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, candidates with certifications in trauma-informed care, motivational interviewing, or cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) are highly desirable. Prior experience working in a community health setting and fluency in multiple languages will be viewed favorably.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $115,000 to $130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
