Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough client assessments and evaluations to pinpoint mental health concerns, crafting personalized treatment plans that address unique client needs.

• Provide individual therapy via secure telehealth sessions, employing a range of evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT).

• Collaborate with clients to set achievable therapeutic goals, regularly assessing their progress and adjusting treatment approaches as necessary.

• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of sessions and treatment plans in compliance with ethical and regulatory standards using our integrated electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Engage in continuing education and professional development opportunities to refine your skills and stay updated with the latest therapeutic practices and research.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Mental Health Counselor at Urban Mental and Counseling Center, you will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals grappling with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, and other mental health disorders. Our clients may come from various socioeconomic backgrounds, and you will play a vital role in providing equitable access to mental health care through our telehealth platform.

Qualifications\n

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) is required.

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is essential for this role.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are necessary to foster a trusting therapeutic alliance with clients.
