Bargaining Unit UUP Job Summary The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology in the College of Medicine at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University is seeking a full‑time Assistant Professor (TCL). Duties And Responsibilities The Attending Physician will provide the provision of services in the Ambulatory Care Service, the Labor and Delivery Suite and in the Operating Room three days a week. Additionally, on a scheduled on‑call basis, the Attending Physician will provide 2‑16 hours and 1‑24 hours weekend sessions on a monthly basis in the Labor and Delivery Suite to properly supervise the Residents. The Attending Physicians will also be required to provide the required scheduled back‑up calls on a monthly basis. Required Qualifications Board Eligible/Board Certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist with a New York State Licensure to practice medicine. Preferred Qualifications None specified.
