Work Environment\n

This role is uniquely structured to allow for remote access while focusing on a school-based setting. You will interact with educators, parents, and students, applying evidence-based practices in a supportive framework. Your online presence will include telehealth sessions to conduct assessments, deliver counseling, and monitor progress, ensuring that students receive the care they need in a familiar and comfortable environment.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments tailored to the unique mental health, substance abuse, and emotional needs of students, ensuring culturally sensitive practices are employed.

• Provide individual and group counseling sessions, guiding students and their families through personal challenges, crises, and educational obstacles.
\n
• Document all evaluations, progress notes, and treatment plans electronically, adhering to regulatory standards and ensuring continuity of care.
\n
• Implement crisis intervention strategies effectively, assessing suicide risk and escalating to appropriate providers when necessary.
\n
• Serve as a liaison to community resources, offering support through referrals to local agencies, medication assistance programs, and additional mental health services.

• Collaborate with educational staff and Quality Improvement teams to develop data-driven strategies that enhance mental health outcomes in the school environment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role requires a focus on a diverse student population within the school system, including individuals facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, and trauma-related issues. Your work will directly impact students' academic and social functioning, fostering resilience and coping strategies among youth and their families.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution with an emphasis on clinical practice.

• Active and valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in Pennsylvania.

• Three (3) years of post-licensure experience in mental health settings, with demonstrable expertise in clinical interventions.

• Proven knowledge of counseling techniques and crisis intervention methodologies, with the capability to make independent judgment regarding patient care.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two (2) years of experience specifically in a school or educational setting, emphasizing mental health services.

Compensation and Benefits\n
