Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough client assessments to determine mental, emotional, and social needs, followed by the development of personalized treatment plans tailored to each individual's circumstances.

• Provide individual, couples, and family therapy, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques to address mental health challenges effectively.

• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other specialists within our multidisciplinary team to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes to ensure continuity of care and adherence to regulatory standards.

• Engage in continuous professional development through regular supervision, training, and participation workshops to enhance clinical skills and stay updated on best practices in mental health care.

• Adhere to all ethical, legal, and clinical standards in your practice, ensuring compliance with state regulations and organizational policies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with patients and families facing terminal illnesses, navigating the complex emotional landscape associated with hospice care. Sensitivity and compassion are paramount as you support clients coping with grief, loss, and anxiety during one of the most challenging phases of life. You will provide guidance in decision-making processes, facilitate communication among family members, and advocate for patients’ needs and preferences.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required; a Master’s degree is preferred.

• A valid licensure as a Clinical Social Worker in the state of Kansas is mandatory.

• A minimum of three years of direct experience in clinical social work is essential, preferably in hospice or palliative care settings.

• Demonstrable expertise in mental health diagnosis and treatment modalities.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to foster therapeutic relationships with clients and collaboration with healthcare teams.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary in the range of USD 80,000 to 90,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
